Family life after SFAS

  I'm just curious on how much time someone with kids and a spouse could plan on seeing them during the Q course? Do you stay in barracks or go home most nights?

  Brandon,

  Surprisingly you are home a good bit during the Q course. If you are married you will be living on/off post with your family. You can expect to be gone for 3-8 weeks at a time (during certain phases that require you to go train at Camp Mackall), however there are some phases where you will go to class on Fort Bragg and youll be home at night. Also, between phases when you are on "hold" you will go do PT in the morning and generally have a recall formation or 2 during the day, other than that the day is yours to do what you want.
